A healthy vegan diet has been identified by many doctors and nutritionists as one of the most effective ways to nutritionally heal the body and achieve optimal health. Weight loss is one of the most noticeable and common changes which occurs within just a short while of switching to a plant-based and / or fruit diet.
The reason for this is due to the calories consumed, as plants and fruit contain less calories than meat or any other products. This also means you can afford eating regular meals per day, but i still suggest that you limit yourself to 3 meals per day and consuming the right amount of your daily nutrition intake. Consuming plant foods often helps one to develop an appreciation for minimally processed, whole foods. The less you consume processed foods, these include foods which are also labeled as “Vegan” but contain added sugars, preservatives and “GMO” oils, the more your body cleanses and your cravings will decrease. Automatically you will notice an increase in your energy, motivation and last but not least, better sleep.
Plant foods contain enormous amounts of fiber, but animal products contain very little in comparison. Consuming fiber filled, green vegetables and fruit aids digestion. This will also improve health, skin and related appearance conditions.
Most people when they hear the word “Veganism”, all they could think about is how they are going to have their freedom of eating delicious foods stripped away from them. I thought the same exact thing before I made this lifestyle change. But once i took the step, which happened overnight without me even thinking about becoming a vegan, my body started eliminating toxins and as i mentioned before, the cravings started cutting off automatically. Naturally, after feeling so good about this life change, I can’t help but want to share it with others.
