So you are all set, and ready to travel. Some might find the whole airport experience a bit frustrating, until they are ready to board and leave. This list of tips and hacks below will make your airport experience a whole lot easier.
- Have your boarding pass downloaded on your phone
Who doesn’t use technology these days ? Keep a handy boarding pass downloaded, just in case you are having trouble getting online, there’s always a backup that you could always use.
- Check in online
Most airlines now offer online check-in. Use it! Nobody enjoys being stuck waiting to check in behind large amounts of people waiting in line to check-in.
- Pack snacks
Airport food is expensive, pack dry snacks because they are the easiest to pass through security. Pack enough to get you through your flight and try to consume them before arriving at your final destination.
- Empty your pockets before getting in line
Always empty your pockets before getting in line to go through security. Usually it’s the last thing that people do and it will take forever to get through.
- Pack your laptop / tablet and liquids at the top of your carry on
Keep anything that you might be asked to take out, at the top of your carry on so it will be easily accessible to take out.
- Be the last to board
Boarding last will give you the advantage of finding other free seats which you might be more comfortable in. You might be lucky to have more legroom or even a whole row to yourself. Everyone enjoys a whole row to himself, right ?
Safe travels !
