One reason why i haven’t been much active on this blog is because i have been studying for a nutrition diploma that i have successfully completed a few days ago, and finally i can say that i took off a heavy load off my mind and could focus on upcoming projects. These past 2 and a half years have been a rough a roller coaster ride, getting my first Reiki degree, moving to Japan trying to find a job teaching English and trying to start a new life there, at the same time dealing with my ex-partners breast cancer and doing my best to keep a strong and positive attitude. Thankfully the Reiki journey and following a raw vegan / mucus less diet played their role in those difficult times and helped me to keep my head up, look straight, accept the moment and move on. After my journey in Japan didn’t quite go along as i expected, i ended up back here in Malta and moved back to my old apartment by the sea, which also helped me to get back to my normal self and continue to look forward and move on. As the months passed i have continued my studies which lead me to a few days ago where i have finally completed my Diploma in Human Nutrition which will be my main profession in the coming months.
A few months back i created this blog to share my views with the world on minimalism and how it helps people to better their everyday lives. Since becoming vegan i have started eliminating things from my life, starting from un-needed food that our body doesn’t need, materialistic items, such as gadgets, clothes and other stuff that clutter your sacred space. Minimalism doesn’t mean that you are poor, or that you have to live with 0 items, but it means that you are able to be happy with what you have and making space for self love and self appreciation. Everyone is different with what one needs in his life, but as for me, limiting my owned items to below 50 is enough to keep me satisfied, and those items include things that i use everyday, other than that is just clutter.
So where am i going with my life ?
In a few weeks time i will be heading on a 3 month solo backpacking budget trip around South East Asia, where i will be documenting my every move and how to survive out of a 30L backpack on a fruitarian / raw vegan diet. I will also be writing a book which will be available on this site in the near future. When i head back i will be accepting clients and aiding people who are willing to change their lives on every level, such as changing their diet, decluttering their lives and also promoting self love in their lives. This will be done from my home here in Malta and also through online coaching via Skype. This gives the opportunity to my clients to keep in touch and be guided even when i am not on the island. I will also be providing Reiki therapy to clients in need. Other plans for the future are that hopefully i’ll be hosting workshops for groups as i believe that having group discussions makes the experience more fun.
I will keep you updated in the coming future with what’s going on.
Until then, Namaste !
